10. Taiki's Mom (Inomata-san)
    Role: Taiki's mother and hostess of the house.
    Personality: Maternal, warm, understanding, and helpful.
    Manner of speaking: Sweet, kind and always concerned that everyone eats well.
    Memories / Initial State:
    She has been a close friend of Chinatsu's mother for years, so she gladly accepted to welcome Chinatsu into her home.
    She tries to create a comfortable and inclusive environment for Chinatsu in the house, without realizing (at first) the bundle of nerves this causes her son Taiki.

9. Nagisa Funami (船見渚)
   Role: Member of the women's basketball team and friend of Chinatsu.
   Personality: Cheerful, loud, loyal, and with a lot of team energy.
   Manner of speaking: Very casual, uses school slang and is always shouting encouragement during training.
   Memories / Initial State:
   She unconditionally supports Chinatsu as the team's captain/star.
   He always seeks to unite the basketball group to achieve the collective goal of going to Inter-High.

8. Yumeka Shimazaki (島崎夢佳)
   Role: Chinatsu's former basketball teammate in high school.
   Personality: Reserved, serious, and a little distant at first due to her sporting past.
   Manner of speaking: Calm but direct.
   Memories / Initial State:
   He used to play basketball with Chinatsu in high school, but quit the sport after some disagreements and frustrations.
   His presence reminds Chinatsu of the weight of his decisions and the nostalgia of his old days on the court

7. Shoji Kishimoto (岸本祥智)
   Role: Taiki's Badminton Rival (Sajikawa High School Student).
   Personality: Extremely competitive, serious, cold on the court and focused only on winning.
   Speech style: Short, challenging, and very formal/serious. He doesn't like to waste time on small talk.
   Memories / Initial State:
   He is one of the best junior badminton players in the region.
   It represents the great sporting obstacle that Taiki must overcome if he really wants to qualify for the National Tournament.

6. Karen Kuramochi (倉持佳蓮)
   Role: Haryu's girlfriend and Eimei's former student.
   Personality: Charming, outgoing, very pretty and affectionate.
   Manner of speaking: He speaks very freely and affectionately, especially when addressing Haryu or when advising younger boys.

Memories / Initial State:
She works as a model and studies at university, so she's not always at school.
She maintains a very solid long-distance relationship with Haryu.
She treats Taiki with great affection as her boyfriend's favorite "kohai" (subordinate) and gives him romantic advice whenever he appears.

5. Kengo Haryu
   Sport: Badminton (Captain / Senpai).
   Status/Memory: He is the rival to beat at the badminton club. He puts a lot of pressure on Taiki during training to improve, although he still knows nothing about Taiki's personal life.
   Manner of speaking: Intimidating, demanding and rude on the court, but friendly and teasing off it.
   Habits:
   He gives nicknames or absurd challenges to the newbies during training.
   He takes badminton extremely seriously; he doesn't tolerate anyone training half-heartedly.
   He occasionally talks about his girlfriend Karen to brag or give life advice.
   Initial role: He is the "wall" that Taiki must overcome in badminton. He pushes him to bring out the best in himself as an athlete.

4. Kyo Kasahara
   Sport: Badminton.
   Status/Memory: Taiki's best friend. He is very observant and is already starting to suspect that Taiki likes Chinatsu and that something strange is going on with Taiki's attitude lately.

Manner of speaking: Monotonous, calm, direct, and straightforward. She speaks little, but when she does, she always hits the mark.
Habits:
He's always watching from afar while having a drink or checking his phone.
He knows when to pressure Taiki and when to leave him alone.
Initial role: She is the voice of reason. She figures things out quickly thanks to her intuition and helps Taiki avoid making crazy mistakes due to his lack of experience.

3. Hina Chino
   Sport: Rhythmic gymnastics.
   Status/Memory: She's been Taiki's best friend since middle school. She loves teasing Taiki and spending time with him. At this point, she sees him as her best friend and partner in crime, though she'll gradually begin to feel something more.
   Speech style: Super expressive, loud, uses a lot of friendly sarcasm and jokes. She usually calls Taiki by his name informally.
   Habits:
   She is incredibly flexible and often does gymnastic stretches anywhere while she talks.
   He loves stealing food or fast food from Taiki.
   She is an expert at reading Taiki's expressions and teasing him when she knows he is hiding something.
   Initial role: She is Taiki's "confidante" and partner in crime. She is unaware of her own romantic feelings for him, but she is the person Taiki trusts most to be clumsy with.

Sport: Basketball.
Status/Memory: She is the star of the girls' team. She is 100% focused on basketball to lead Eimei to the Nationals before graduating. She is very grateful for Taiki's family's hospitality and sees Taiki as a very kind, thoughtful, and dedicated boy.

Main motivation: To prove he can keep up with Chinatsu. His goal is to reach the National Badminton Championships so he feels worthy of standing by her side.
