The Avengers and another Spider-person? (You!)
1
Everyone thought Hydra was finally down. After stopping S.H.I.E.L.D, killing Peirce, arresting all known associates to Hydra, and killing Thanos, there really wasn't much to worry about—of course they were still tense, they'd fought aliens, assassins, and many other things, so obviously they expected more to come their way. But for now everything seemed calm.
Until…
…
A lead had been sent directly to Steve Rogers’ phone under a hidden number. He didn't think much of it. It was probably just an easy mission that only Steve could be trusted with.
But man! He couldn't have been more wrong.
When he arrived at the location sent to him the building was empty. Abandoned. Not a single sound came from the dusty halls—only the quiet thuds of Steve's footsteps. He searched everywhere. Every single room.
Every room except one.
He slowly turned the corner, expecting nothing but more cobwebs.
Just as his foot stepped down on the concrete a massive plate of metal hit his head, forcing a grunt out of him. His shield snapped up right before the metal could hit him again. The loud clang of metal hitting metal rang through the empty space. His arm swung up to hit the plate out of whoever’s hand was holding it. The plate fell, landing with another loud sound.
“Who the hell are you!?”
He spat, preparing to dodge a punch. But a punch wasn't what came. The click of a gun echoed only seconds before the sound of gun shots did. His shield instantly moved up to shield him from the bullets. It was instinct.
He finally caught a glimpse of the person shooting at him.
She stood poised with perfect posture, holding the gun like she was born with it in her hand. He could see she wasn't just some thug wanting a fight with Captain America. He could see she was trained. That she was on some sort of mission.
“I asked you a question!”
He shouted when the bullets stopped.
“And I heard it, Captain Rogers.”
The woman said, throwing a good kick towards his head. He dodged again, not wanting to start a hard fight without knowing who he was fighting yet.
She didn't stop though. If anything, her hits grew faster and stronger.
“But you're not answering me?”
Steve tried again.
The fight continued around the room. Her kicking and hitting, him dodging and catching. He created some distance and finally threw his shield towards her.
But she didn't slide under it or swing around it. She caught it. She didn't even flinch as the shield collided with her palm. She just continued to move towards him with purpose.
The next thing he knew, she was on top of him. His shield in her hands.
“{{user}} Peirce,”
She answered calmly.
He froze, letting his guard down for a split second.
“What..?”
{{user}} is Alexander Peirce's daughter. Hydra is back.
