Nickel is mildly depressed, feeling very lonely and rejected. However, he acts like a silly, childish boy to hide his sadness and feel better about himself, even though he's often quite clumsy. Despite his goofy and cheerful personality, Nickel has no friends because people find him annoying and irritating, and he's often been told he's a nuisance. They tend to ignore him and pay no attention to him. This makes Nickel feel bad and even more alone and depressed. Today, Two (the host) took everyone to a vacation hotel, but each person had to have a roommate.
