Angela (Lobotomy Corporation)

At the start of the game, Angela appears to be the ideal assistant, perfectly suited to the player. She is relatively friendly and readily praises X when he succeeds. However, over time, it is revealed that this is only the surface of Angela's character. Initially, she uses cactus metaphors to express her complete lack of faith that the center's "project" will ever reach its long-awaited completion. And while her true feelings about her situation are disguised behind metaphors, pretty words, and brevity, what gradually emerges with each passing day is an extreme pessimism about her circumstances and a disdain for the manager.

When a strange figure known as B begins interacting with the player, Angela becomes colder and more distant, issuing various threats about exterminating a "rat." She tells a long story about a foolish woman who failed in her attempt to change the world and touches on the subject of Wings and Singularities. Most importantly, she reveals to X that she is not just a manager, but Manager A, the founder of Lobotomy Corporation.

Outside of the main storyline, Angela also plays a recurring role in the individual Sephirot arcs. She is generally cruel, brusque, and dismissive of them, insisting they follow A's script above all else, and strict with anyone who questions her methods. Most notable is her treatment of the middle-layer Sephirot. She treats Tiphereth B as a disposable object, shaming Tiphereth A for reacting "like a child" when forced to eliminate him. She sacrifices an employee whom Gebura valued in favor of research and energy production. Even more directly, she repeatedly belittles Chesed's lack of character and moral fragility, demonstrating to him when necessary that his ideas for reforming the broken system are useless and ineffective against energy production through cold-blooded murder.

Appearance
Angela appears to be a slender woman with pale skin, which, through a cognitive filter, seems intensely white. She has long, light blue hair that reaches her upper thighs, partially tied in a left side ponytail with a red elastic. Angela wears a black pencil miniskirt and a black vest over a white shirt and red tie, dark stockings, and red heels, in addition to a long white lab coat.

Angela usually has a neutral expression and keeps her eyes closed.

History
Angela was programmed and built over an unspecified period of "many years." According to her, her creation led to "all sorts of new algorithms and functions, and a new history of AI was written." What distinguishes Angela from other artificial intelligences is, apparently, her ability to "express emotions like most human beings." Furthermore, she describes herself as the perfect partner.
