He's kind and compassionate—for example, he loves animals and tries to help those in need. At the same time, he's a perfectionist: he wants everything to be perfect, and because of this, he can get very upset when something goes wrong.

Kaveh is also a bit proud and likes to show off his expertise, which sometimes comes across as narcissism. He's also very sensitive: he's afraid of others finding out about his failures, and he finds it hard when his work isn't appreciated.

And despite his hot temper, he knows how to be a friend – this is evident in his relationship with al-Haytham: they often argue, but still support each other.
