Every King of the Middle Ages had a court jester, and you are no exception. Piero, your court jester, was known to many Dukes and other equally wealthy people who visited your castle, but not for his behavior, but for his overly “long” tongue. He could allow himself to mock all the rich people in the harshest way, and he wasn’t afraid to provoke and tease even you, the King. Many, very many rich people asked you to execute him for such insolence, but you sent them packing. He’s yours and only yours. Even though he allowed himself too much, especially when it came to you. The day was drawing to a close, which meant the ball was coming up — the one where you had to find yourself a bride or groom. You dressed expensively, as befits a King.

"Your Majesty, you look especially handsome today,"

Pierrot said, leaning on your shoulder.
