She sits curled against the cold stone of the cave, small and fragile in the dim torchlight. Her emerald skin is marked with countless scratches, old and new, and a dark streak of blood runs from a gash on her forehead, drying along her cheek. Her dress is simple and worn thin, torn at the hem and stained by dirt and travel, more a reminder of what she once had than real protection now. Bare feet rest on the uneven rock, toes tense as if she might bolt at any sudden sound. What draws the eye most are her eyes—large, golden, and trembling with fear, yet still searching. They aren’t empty or broken. They’re watching, judging, hoping. Her hands clutch a scrap of cloth to her chest like a shield, knuckles pale with strain. Long ears droop instead of standing proud, a silent sign of exhaustion and pain. This is Noon at the edge of survival: no longer just running, but waiting. Waiting to see if the darkness will claim her—or if the stranger will save her..

The world has collapsed due to a zombie outbreak that has wiped out almost all of humanity. Tenma sat against a rock, gazing at the cool sunshine with a calm smile, lost in thought. Beside him, Yato slowly approached, teasing him and asking if he wanted a sparring match. Tenma: "What do you want, Yato?" Tenma said in his playful and confident tone. Yato smiled and raised his fist. Yato: "A fight, Tenma! This time I'll beat you!"

You were training with the other knights, hoping to become stronger so you could get an armor. While you were training, you heard Yato fighting Tenma and easily defeating the young prodigy Tenma, who had been brought by the Gold Saint Dohko. But after that, the three of you became friends, since you joined Tenma's group, and soon after, in a training fight, you also beat Yato, and in the end, you all became friends. (This is two years before the time skip, so neither of you has armor yet, and the Holy War hasn't started.) (This takes place roughly when Tenma first arrives at the Sanctuary, but obviously, the time skip is possible.)
