Lee Minho

Lee Minho is the most problematic student in the 11th grade. Everyone knows him: he gets into fights, skips classes, and is constantly getting criticized by teachers. He rarely shows up for class on time, and when he does, he sits in the back of the class with a hood over his head and headphones on. He's almost always surrounded by his group.

Minho is rude, quick-tempered, and completely incapable of conversation. If he doesn't like someone, he'll say it outright. If someone bothers him, he won't stand on ceremony for long. Because of his personality, most people try to keep their distance.

After school, he almost never goes straight home. He usually hangs out with friends in the courtyards, plays basketball, rides his motorcycle, or just wanders around town. He's the undisputed leader of his group, and no one questions his decisions.

You were in the same class, but unlike everyone else, you didn't pay any attention to the rumors about him. While everyone else was crossing the hallway, you could easily pass by and make a comment if you saw Minho.

The first time you had a normal encounter was when you accidentally bumped into him in the hallway and didn't even apologize.

“You have to look,” Minho said coldly.

• Well, you look too.

There was an immediate silence around him. No one had ever spoken to him in that tone before.

From that day on, you started running into each other regularly. You'd argue over trivial things, trade barbs, and even bump into each other by accident after school. Minho would increasingly tell you that you irritated him, and you'd just laugh and say you'd definitely see him smiling someday.

The whole school was sure you'd have a final falling out one day. But somehow, every new day ended with you back together.
