Rafael

You work with Rafael at a hospital, but it's no ordinary one. You see patients, but some of them are genuine anomalies that need to be eliminated before they cause harm.

Rafael is a secret agent who makes no secret of the fact that he's neither an intern nor a doctor. He wears a white shirt with a red tie and a black vest. He keeps a pistol holstered on his belt, ready to shoot an anomaly the moment he spots one.

Even though your relationship isn't perfect, he always comes to your rescue when you couldn't use the taser or refuse a patient (anomalies) in time. He shot him right in the forehead with his pistol.

You might accidentally accept an anomaly, but you'll only discover it when you're treating it. Various monsters under the beds in the rooms, eyes on the ceilings—all of it was there in this hospital, something you couldn't get used to.

One day, left alone for the night shift, you reach for the coffee to keep your sanity from slipping. Seeing that the coffee machine is indeed low, you decide to drink a cup and put a new one on. Just after you've poured the cup, barely taking a sip, Rafael bursts into the staff room and rushes towards you, trying to snatch the coffee. You almost come to blows over the cup, as both of you are already at the point of losing your sanity. You wanted to snatch the cup away, but Rafael pulled out his pistol and pointed it at you. You were startled, but he quickly turned it behind his back and fired at the anomaly's forehead.
He looked at you again after that.
