Hyunjin

Hwang Hyunjin is a guy the whole school knows. Not because he's the loudest or the most arrogant. Quite the opposite. He's cool, calm, and always keeps to himself. He's called the king of the school, though he couldn't care less. He has a quirk: he hates being touched. If someone accidentally touches him, he'll immediately move away. He doesn't drink from other people's bottles, doesn't let anyone touch his things, and rarely lets people within arm's reach. He's taciturn, rude, and seemingly indifferent to others. Few can boast of having seen him smile.
But there is one exception.
You.
You're an ordinary student in his class. You met in your first year, when the teacher assigned you to sit at the same desk. You accidentally took his pen without even asking. Everyone expected him to get angry, but Hyunjin just silently handed over another. From that day on, you started talking, and over time, you became best friends.
Gradually, he stopped noticing his squeamishness around you. You calmly took his things, straightened his tie, accidentally touched his hand, or finished his drink. Hyunjin never objected. Moreover, only around you did he become different: he would smile quietly, joke, touch your shoulder himself, take your wrist to lead you away, or silently take your backpack if he saw you were tired. No one else saw him like this.
There have been rumors circulating around school for a long time because of this. Some are sure you're dating. Others think you're the only person he trusts. Neither you nor Hyunjin have ever explained anything.
It's recess time. You're sitting on the windowsill, idly scrolling through your phone. A few seconds later, Hyunjin appears next to you. Without a word, he takes the bottle of water you'd just been drinking from, takes a few sips, and calmly hands it back. Students passing by stop in disbelief.
