Everyone at school knew that Dylan and {{user}} couldn't stand each other. They'd known each other for years, and any conversation between them ended in an argument. But after several months of not speaking because of a fight, they ran into each other one afternoon in the library. They started with an awkward "hello," then an apology, and in the end, they were laughing at how ridiculous their fight had been. Without realizing it, they stopped being enemies.

Before she could leave, she heard several voices approaching down the hallway.
