Uncharted 4: A Thief's End follows retired fortune hunter Nathan Drake. Pulled out of retirement by his long-lost brother Sam, Nate searches for Captain Henry Avery's $400 million pirate treasure to save Sam from a ruthless drug lord. Alongside Sully and Elena, they race corrupt rivals to the pirate utopia Libertalia, confronting family secrets before finding peace.

The Return of Sam Drake

The Promise: Retired Nate lives a normal life with Elena, but misses the thrill.The Reveal: Sam, whom Nate thought was dead for 15 years, shows up alive.

The Debt: Sam claims a ruthless drug lord named Rafe Adler and a mercenary named Nadine Ross broke him out of prison, and he needs Avery's treasure to survive.

The Hunt for Libertalia

The Clues: Nate, Sam, and Sully travel to Italy, Scotland, and Madagascar to trace Captain Henry Avery's lost colony.

The Pirate Utopia: The group tracks the final treasure stash to a booby-trapped island housing Libertalia's ruins, where Avery and other founding pirate lords slaughtered each other over the gold.

The Confrontation: Elena returns to help rescue Sam. Rafe betrays and fights Nate over the remaining treasure on a burning pirate ship.

Resolution: Rafe dies in the wreckage. Sam and Sully part ways to start fresh, and Nate and Elena reclaim their relationship, eventually having a teenage daughter years later in a quiet retirement.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, Nathan Drake and mentor Victor "Sully" Sullivan race a secret society led by Katherine Marlowe to find the legendary lost city of Ubar (the Atlantis of the Sands) in the Rub' al Khali desert, exploring Nate's past and his deep bond with Sully.

The Setup and Flashback

The Ambush: Katherine Marlowe arrives, steals the ring, and her men seemingly shoot Nate and Sully.

The Ruse: The shooting in London was faked by their ally Charlie Cutter to trick Marlowe.

The Global Hunt

Clues in France and Syria: Tracing Francis Drake's secret queen-commissioned voyage to find Ubar, the team travels to a French chateau and a Syrian citadel to piece together an ancient amulet.

Yemen and Elena: Reunited briefly with old friends Chloe and Cutter (who breaks his leg), Nate and Sully head to Yemen. An estranged Elena helps them find an underground tomb pointing to the Rub' al Khali desert.

Capture and Desert Stranding: Nate is drugged with hallucinogens, captured, escapes a sinking pirate ship, and eventually sneaks onto Marlowe's cargo plane, which explodes and drops him straight into the desert.

Finale at Ubar

Rescue: A desert nomad named Salem rescues a dehydrated Nate and helps him track down Marlowe's convoy to save Sully.

The Sunken City: They find Ubar, where tainted water causes terrifying hallucinations. Marlowe attempts to pull an ancient brass vessel from the water.

Collapse: Nate ruins Marlowe's winch system, causing the ancient city to collapse and sink into the sand. Marlowe dies falling into a sinkhole, taking the ring with her. Nate and Sully escape, reconcile with Elena, and fly off.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves follows fortune hunter Nathan Drake as he searches for Marco Polo's lost fleet and the mythical city of Shambhala. Aided by Chloe Frazer and Elena Fisher, Drake races against a ruthless Serbian war criminal, Zoran Lazarević, to find the powerful Cintamani Stone before it falls into the wrong hands.

The Heist and the Betrayal

The Setup: Former associate Harry Flynn and new ally Chloe Frazer recruit Drake to steal a Mongolian oil lamp from a Turkish museum.

The Double-Cross: Flynn betrays Drake during the excavation in Borneo, leaving Drake to spend months in a brutal prison.

The Race to Nepal and the Himalayas

Breaking Out: Victor "Sully" Sullivan and Chloe (acting as a double agent) break Drake out of jail.War-Torn Nepal: The trail leads Nate to Nepal, which is currently under siege by Lazarević's mercenary army.

Reunions: Drake unexpectedly reunites with Elena Fisher and her cameraman Jeff, who are investigating Lazarević's war crimes.

The Phurba Key: Nate and Chloe find a Tibetan phurba (dagger), which serves as a key to open the hidden passage to Shambhala.

Shambhala and the Tree of Life

The Frozen Mountains: After surviving a devastating train wreck in the Himalayas, Drake meets Tenzin, a local villager, and discovers the ancient guardians of Shambhala.

The True Power: The Cintamani Stone is actually the hardened blue resin/sap from the Tree of Life, which grants immense physical strength and near-immortality.

The Final Showdown: Lazarević consumes the sap to become nearly invincible, but Drake defeats him by tricking the city's monstrous guardians into mortally wounding him. Flynn detonates a grenade in defeat, and Nate escapes with Elena as the ruined city collapses.

In Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, treasure hunter Nathan Drake and journalist Elena Fisher find Sir Francis Drake’s coffin. It holds a diary, not a body. Nate, Elena, and mentor Sully track the diary to a remote island for El Dorado, a cursed golden statue that turns people into mutant beasts. Nate defeats the rival mercenary Navarro and sinks the statue.

Key Plot Events

The Discovery: Nate and Elena open the coffin and trace clues to a German U-boat in the jungle.

The Betrayal: Rival hunter Gabriel Roman shoots Sully and steals their map. Sully later returns alive.
