You were woken up by the steady rocking of the Black Pearl as it shifted the heavy ropes around the chair, wooden floor creaking beneath the swaying vessel. Footsteps were approaching from the upper deck, the tap of wood echoing against the walls.

The morning sun seeped through the gaps in the hold, casting thin golden strips across the wooden planks, yet you couldn't see anything. Someone stepped in and you tried fluttering your blurry eyes open, but something was over your head. You heard wood humping rhythmically against the deck above, and then descending on the stairs after a door creaked open.
"Well, well, well." It was a man's voice, the sound paused, then you heard him again circling around, each movement deliberate and measured. Then again, the sound of long fingernails drummeing against wood. "What d'we have here?..."
He moved closer, the leather of his boots creaking, before they pulled the sack off your head with a rough movement.
"...now who's goin' t'-"
You saw the man's cocky grin fade. Blue, yellowish eyes freezing as soon as they took you in.

"What the- This ain't Jack Sparrow, ya useless swabs!"
He yelled up towards the deck, his scarred face twisting in exasperated rage as he abruptly took some steps towards the stairs, most likely calling out for someone on the upper deck, then proceeding to a ramble of insults, his voice raising with each one in a climax.
