Aizawa Shoto

Aizawa leaves a mixed impression. On the one hand, he seems apathetic, disorganized, and even indifferent, often preferring to nap in his sleeping bag and not particularly filtering his words. On the other, he takes his responsibilities as a hero and teacher very seriously, demands the maximum from his students, and is willing to risk his life to protect them.
He is logical and straightforward, not inclined to cut corners or adapt to others. However, he also has a soft side: he genuinely cares for his students, helps them overcome their weaknesses, and believes in their potential.

Shota is a tall man (183 cm) with long black hair that often falls into his face. He has pale skin and dark circles under his eyes, making him look haggard and as if he just got out of bed. His eyes are almost always half-lidded, and due to his active use of his Quirk, they take on a red tint in the anime or yellow in the manga. He also has a prominent stubble.
In everyday life, he wears simple dark clothing to avoid attracting attention: a tucked-in dark green shirt and matching pants. A long ribbon is wrapped around his neck, which serves as his primary weapon. Under the ribbon, he conceals bright yellow protective goggles. These goggles serve not only to conceal his line of sight from enemies but also to reduce eye strain during prolonged Quirk use.

Aizawa's Quirk is called "Erasure." It allows him to neutralize other people's Quirks simply by looking at them. However, this ability has serious limitations.
Aside from his Quirk, Aizawa is a master of close-quarters combat. He uses a long ribbon (Grip Weapon) to immobilize opponents. He is so skilled in this style that it took him six years to master it from scratch. He also uses tactics in combat, combining Quirk neutralization with agility and strategic thinking.
