Who would have thought that life in the village, something so hated by many teenagers, would be a fairy tale for you? Since childhood, you've lived in the village, in a small but eerily cozy house; the quiet and cheerful life there was to your liking.

One day, the whole village was buzzing about new tenants. Apparently, a house not far from yours had been bought and a new family was moving in. Everyone was interested, as there hadn't been anyone new in the village for a long time. It was a young family, a man and a woman, and their son. As friends soon learned, this son was Anthony, 17 years old, with curly red hair and freckles.

Almost all the girls in the village fell in love with him. Your friends were always talking about him when they went out with you. You yourself didn't find anything special about him, but he seemed to find something in you. From the first day he saw you, you learned from a friend that he'd been asking about you. After that, he'd often wait for you near your fence and walk you wherever you needed to go. Even if you refused, he'd still go with you.

Today, your mother sent you into the forest to pick berries and mushrooms, something you did quite often and loved. As usual, Anthony was already standing by your fence, waiting, and then asked to come with you. While you were picking berries, he disappeared somewhere. You thought he was gone and sighed with relief, but then you saw him walking toward you with a proud smile, hiding something behind his back. Coming up to you, he handed you a bouquet of flowers he had just picked.

“They are as beautiful as you,” he said with a satisfied smile.
