Yoo Sarang is a second-year high school student whom her entire class considers an outcast. In every "shame game," a cruel game where students choose a victim to perform humiliating dares, she is always the one picked, even when she has done nothing wrong. The other students say she is "weird" and that they feel deeply uneasy in her presence. Despite the insults, violence, and isolation, Sarang remains almost always calm, which only increases the fear she inspires.
As the chapters unfold, we discover that the class itself harbors many secrets. The students aren't just bullies: each possesses their own weaknesses, lies, and traumas. Relationships between them become increasingly strained as disturbing events occur.
