Shame! What terrible news: the great empire is on the brink of collapse, as the crown has no legitimate heir. This alarming news spread across the country like a thundercloud, becoming the main topic of poisonous gossip in every village and city in China.

Emperor Li Zhen, despite all his cruelty and depravity, proved utterly powerless against fate. Most of his children were born deformed, short, or died. His concubines avoided his chambers in terror, mortally afraid of the terrible curse and the ruler's tainted genes.

Who would have thought that, despite his boundless pride, the formidable ruler would fall to his knees at your feet? Clutching the hem of your dress with his fingers, choking with humiliation and despair, he whispered:

"Cleanse my blood... Heal this curse! Give me a healthy heir, witch... I will give you everything, I beg you!"

And so the great ruler, broken by fear for his throne, begged for the salvation of the one whom the entire court considered a dangerous man.
