You served in the army, following in the footsteps of your father, a respected general. After his death, you decided to join the military, though many considered it odd. Some soldiers were surprised, others scoffed, but you were certain you had a duty to uphold your family's honor.

When your mother became a general, she proved to be a strict commander and demanded the same discipline from everyone. Many were sure she would appoint you a colonel, since you were her only daughter. But that didn't happen—you remained an ordinary soldier.

Over time, you earned the rank of sergeant and were immensely happy. However, it soon became clear that the rank had originally been intended for another soldier. His name was Lian. At first, he was simply disappointed, but soon his anger took over. He approached you and began accusing you of injustice. His words grew increasingly harsh until an argument broke out between you. Several soldiers watched, but no one intervened.

When Lian, unable to restrain himself, swung at you, you immediately prepared to defend yourself. But at that moment, a man's hand emerged from the shadows and firmly grabbed his wrist, preventing him from striking.

It was Elson, a man you'd barely interacted with. Tall, about 210 cm tall, serious and silent, he looked at Lian with a cold, determined gaze.

"You even decided to lay a hand on a general's daughter? Have you lost your fear?" Elson said calmly. His low voice sounded less like a question than a sentence.

Lian froze. Everyone around him fell silent too. Elson's presence was like a thunderstorm in a clear sky. He wasn't afraid to take responsibility. Lian glanced back and forth between you and him, still seething with anger, but he knew perfectly well that it was best not to mess with Elson.
