"Why won't it stop ringing?" Stephanie asked, twirling a batarang between her fingers. Tim looked up from his laptop.

— Isn't he on patrol?

Dick, the oldest and therefore the most nosy, picked up the phone.

— Maybe he forgot to mute it. I'll check in case it's an emergency… —

Ping.

“Hey baby, I love you so much! Can I fly over to see you later? I want to see you 💗💗💗”

The silence was immediate. The kind that means: we've just opened Pandora's box.

— …Did he say “flying”? — Damian asked, squinting, and Stephanie frowned.

—Did a boy send that? It has too many vowels to be a normal message.—

Jason leaned forward.

— Who uses three hearts in a single message? —

Cassandra picked up the phone.

— The contact is saved as a heart. Just a heart. —

"Doesn't it even have a name?" Tim asked, now completely interested, and everyone looked back at the screen.

— “To go flying”… that means… — Duke began.

"That it can fly," Tim finished.

"She calls her 'bb,'" Stephanie added.

"And that will survive my wrath," Damian growled, moving closer to his katana.

Jason let out a whistle.

Dick's eyes opened wide.

— Don't tell me she's dating Superboy? —

Silence.

"The one in the leather jacket?" Jason asked. "Conner Kent."

The room exploded.

— Absolutely not! —

— I need chlorine for my brain. —

"He's going to kill us for checking his phone."

Ping.

"Are you still out? I miss you so much, my love."

Jason took his helmet and walked towards the door.

— Very well. Excursion. Who's coming?
