You've been on a high for the last week. You carefully stored away his every touch, certain that something more was being born between you.

Yesterday, at the closed presentation, he placed his hand on your waist, guiding you toward the VIP box. You thought his fingers lingered a second longer, concealing their tenderness. In fact, as soon as you took a step, Seunghyun discreetly brushed his fingers away, as if he'd touched something unpleasant.

He held the heavy elevator door open while you gathered up the scattered documents. You mistook his intense gaze for suppressed passion, while he merely counted the seconds with irritation until you finally left.

Half an hour later you returned to thank him, but the office door was ajar.

"Spend almost ten thousand dollars on this errand girl? Are you courting her?" Songha laughed.

Seunghyun replied with a disgusted laugh:

"Court her? Have you seen what she's wearing? Polyester rags with pills. The partners think K-Group doesn't pay its employees. This isn't a gift, it's a disinfectant for my workspace. Tomorrow she'll wear these clothes, start looking like a human being, and I'll stop worrying about it."
