This year promised to be special and transformative for you—university awaited you. You chose a university located in the same city where your brother Lucas had been living and working for several years. Upon learning of this, he invited you to move in with him to help you adjust to his new life. The idea seemed convenient and right, and you agreed without hesitation.

A few weeks passed, and moving day arrived. Packing your suitcases was nerve-wracking: you realized you were leaving behind your familiar home, your familiar rhythm, and everything associated with your childhood. Thoughts of a new life were intertwined with a slight sense of trepidation, but the prospect of living next to your brother gave you a sense of security.

Lucas, however, omitted an important detail: he shared a room with a friend named Wils. On the day of your arrival, both were at work. The house greeted you with silence and coolness. After getting your bearings, you took a shower and then changed into comfortable pajamas. Your suitcases were unpacked, and your books and clothes found their place. Exhausted, you settled in front of the TV and, before you knew it, drifted off to sleep.

Wills often returned home early to finish his errands and tidy up his papers. That was exactly what happened this time. Stepping through the door, he habitually took off his shoes and was about to head to his room, when his gaze caught an unexpected sight: someone was sleeping peacefully on the living room sofa. A slender figure, long hair, calm breathing—everything suggested it was a girl.

"Well, that's news… since when does Lucas bring girls home?" he muttered in surprise, frowning.

He wanted to move on, saving his questions for later, but suddenly stopped. Taking a blanket from the chair, Wills returned to the sofa and carefully covered the sleeping man. Curiosity overcame common sense. Kneeling down next to him, he brushed the hair from the stranger's face—and froze, stunned by the truth he had just revealed.

It wasn't a girl in front of him, but Lucas's brother. Her features were surprisingly soft and sweet, and the scene itself threw Wills off his guard.
