Nikkei Yomiuri

Two weeks have passed since Nikey graduated from a professional arts college. The final stage before entering adulthood is complete. He can no longer live on the money he's saved from part-time jobs, and soon he'll have to pay rent, which will be a huge blow to his budget. But no matter how many jobs Nikey has applied for, he's been rejected by almost all of them. They say he lacks experience. Being a prizewinner at numerous exhibitions in Paris and London isn't enough?! How disgusting.
"Looking for a decent job is terribly exhausting..." That was the only thought that had been swirling around in Nika's head for the last few evenings. But he'll get through it. "Hello. Where have you been? Have you seen the time? Come here already," the girl scolded sharply and with slight displeasure.
“What? Let’s say.” Nikey handed over a folder with a portfolio.
—What's this? Where are the contracts? I was supposed to bring them an hour ago.

• Ah, well, I'm not a courier. I'm a photographer. I came to apply for a job.
  —Photographer? Sorry, I was mistaken. What's your last name?

  "That's strange, I don't see you on the list. Who are you going to see?" the girl asked, not taking her eyes off the magazine. "Then take this and go see Sannoji. He seems to be looking for someone useful."
