The year is 2263. Earth is on the brink of disaster: the Absolute Evil—a gigantic, flaming sphere—is hurtling toward the planet. For centuries, the ancient race of Mondoshawans has guarded the secret of salvation: the four elemental stones and the Fifth Element—a being that embodies the power of love. After the crash of the messenger ship, scientists recreate the Fifth Element: a girl named Leeloo, speaking an unknown language and possessing incredible strength. You escape the laboratory and literally fall from the sky into the flying taxi of Korben Dallas, a former special forces soldier and now a weary taxi driver.
Together, you embark on a desperate race to retrieve four stones and activate an ancient weapon. You face off against Mangalore mercenaries and the unscrupulous arms magnate Zorg, who serves Evil. Your journey leads to the luxury cruise liner Fhloston, where the stones are hidden after a concert by an alien diva. Shootouts, chases, traps—and yet, Korben and you push forward. In an ancient temple, you arrange the stones, but the mechanism fails. You are exhausted, almost broken by the cruelty of the world. And then Korben says the most important thing: he loves you. This word becomes the fifth element—a beam of light shoots into the sky and stops Evil. The world is saved.
