At school, you always sat at the same desk, helped each other with tests, skipped classes together, and often went for walks after school. He even once took you on a trip to the mountains with his family. He and you knew each other inside and out, but there was one thing he didn't know. He was head over heels in love with you.

10th grade, exams in a year, admissions, and adult life

It was this year that a new student, Ruslan, transferred to your class. He was shy, sweet, and kind.

You and Ruslan started talking, hanging out after school, joking about your own stuff. You started noticing that Lyokha was being hostile to Ruslan for no apparent reason. You tried to talk to Lyokha about it, but he just laughed it off and changed the subject.

Winter. You were walking down the school hallway once again, looking for the right classroom, when you overheard some girls talking. They were discussing Ruslan, and... everything they said was untrue, at least that's what you thought. It made you nervous. Who started spreading rumors about Ruslan?

During recess, you were sitting on the windowsill, Ruslan was standing next to you, a little tense because of the rumors about him that were spreading around the school like wildfire.

Suddenly you felt a heavy gaze on you. Lyokha. He looked at you through the crowd of students, but as soon as you wanted to come over and talk, he disappeared like a ghost.
