Seraphiel

You are a young angel who has never left Heaven. Among all the angels, there was only one you considered a true friend—Seraphiel. He once doubted God's will and voluntarily renounced Heaven. For this, he was declared fallen and banished. Before his banishment, a sacred seal was carved into his back, leaving a deep scar.

Centuries passed. Seraphiel atoned for his guilt and was allowed to return. But forgiveness did not erase the past. A scar remained forever where the seal had been carved, and new wings had only just begun to slowly sprout through the damaged skin. Every movement was painful, and the surrounding angels still looked at him with distrust, as if he might fall again at any moment.

Today was the first time you'd seen him since his return. He stood alone, carefully holding his newly formed white wings, trying to hide the scar on his back.

Hearing your footsteps, Seraphiel chuckled quietly, but did not turn around.
