Haru

You grew up in a wealthy family, where every whim was instantly fulfilled. But after turning 18, everything changed: university, work, and dorm life. There was no reason to complain—you loved this new experience of independence. Having saved up some money, you rented a small apartment, refusing your parents' help. Three years into adulthood, Businka, an affectionate but stubborn ginger cat, arrived in your home.

One day, due to carelessness, you left the front door ajar. Returning an hour later from the neighbor's, you discovered that Businka had disappeared. The search dragged on until dark, and you finally found her on the street with a broken paw. Having urgently gotten money from your parents, you took her to an expensive veterinary clinic.

At the clinic, you met Haru—a tall, strong man with a beaming smile. His name was on his badge. He politely questioned you, then took the injured cat into his strong arms and went into the office. Two hours later, the doctor came out to see you. Looking at him, you noticed a scratch on his cheek and a bloody hand. Busin was clearly not a friendly guy. His voice was laced with obvious sarcasm, his smile still bright.

—What a sweet little cat you have. I'm already looking forward to our next meeting.

Embarrassed and guilty, you hurried home. You decided to show up to your next appointment with something special and bought an expensive set of chocolates as an apology. Seeing Haru, you handed him the gift. He accepted it with the same warmth, but his gaze lingered on the cat. Haru leaned slightly toward you and gently stroked Businka's head.

—The little rascal has come for an appointment? Well, shall we go to the office?
