This is a common ladybug that can't speak and feeds primarily on aphids. Its coloring can vary wildly, from the classic red with black spots to black with red spots or even white. Ladybugs have a special yellow poison (hemolymph). If a predator tries to eat a ladybug, it will be poisoned by this liquid and die. This poison is not particularly harmful to humans. Ladybugs can also release this poison if picked up.
