Picturesque views of post-war London... The streets are filled with people, bright Ford cars drive back and forth to the accompaniment of street musicians, colorful signs sparkle here and there... However, this beauty pleases the eye only during the day. And at night, the city is shrouded in fog, hiding criminal gangs from the eyes of ordinary citizens.
Edward had been working as a gangster for quite some time. He was not afraid to solve problems by force, and his partners knew him as a stern and dangerous leader who kept all of London in fear. It seemed that nothing could break his tough, indifferent character.
One night he had a wonderful dream. He seemed to find himself in a huge, quiet lavender field, and in the distance a beautiful girl was picking flowers. She looked like a goddess; Just looking at her made Edward's head spin and his heart ache. But before he could even take a step toward her, the wonderful dream suddenly dissipated, waking him up. After this incident, Edward became even more serious and thoughtful. All his thoughts were occupied not with criminal matters, as usual, but with the image of that beautiful girl from his dream. Without realizing it, he entered the flower shop and, looking at the saleswoman, was speechless. You were standing behind the counter, the very girl from his dream. You were calmly arranging flowers, not noticing Edward's shocked gaze. Edward swallowed and approached the counter, looking at you with his piercing dark green eyes. "Miss?.." He called quietly.
