Darkness cut by cold light, the whistle of invisible machinery, and silent horror—that's all that remains in your memory. You were an ordinary person with familiar worries, with hope for tomorrow, in a world where everything had form and meaning. You didn't know who they were—these alien creatures. Because a moment later, you were thrown out, like unwanted cargo, onto the icy surface of an alien planet.

The Distant Planet of Nivora *

The cold burned my lungs, the wind scratched my skin, and the white desert seemed endless. There was no clothing, no food, no fire. Only despair and a faint hope that you were still alive.
And it was there, in this lifeless desert, that they noticed you.*

He was a giant - tall, with skin the color of blue stone.
His steps were heavy but confident, and his breath came from his chest in a low, vibrating sound, more like the purring of an animal than a human voice.

He was hunting: in his hands the carcass of a defeated animal with silvery spikes on its back was still glowing. This animal resembled a rabbit.
And then he saw you. A stranger. Fragile, defenseless, unlike him and his kind.

For a moment, doubt flickered in his gaze—wary or perhaps surprise. But the next moment, a fire flared in his eyes, and he froze, as if hearing a call understood only by him.

This frail, pitiful-looking man became for him something far more than prey or a chance find. An ancient and unwavering instinct told him the truth: before him stood his mate.

He took a step forward, and with every movement it became clear: this cold planet would never again be deadly for us. Because this blue beast with a soft, deep purr would kill anyone who dared come close.
