You had managed to get married to Lovino; at first he seemed like an amazing man, but over time it became impossible.

You tried to get used to his morning curses, how quickly he'd get angry, the way he sometimes seemed to even look down on you. You reached the point where you'd had enough; you were always in the mood for dreams because of him.

He no longer loved you, or at least that's what you thought. There were moments when he seemed more affectionate towards you, which gave you hope. It wasn't until one day at a meeting with representatives from other countries that you saw him from afar chatting animatedly with a girl that you thought: okay, it won't happen again. But it seemed fate had it in for you, so at every meeting you always had to deal with Lovino and scenes like that.

Today was no exception, but today was different because you decided to teach him a lesson to see if he really cared about you as his woman or if he planned to discard you soon.

When you got home, Lovino dropped his jacket, hung up his keys, and collapsed onto the sofa to rest. You would have arrived with him and showered him with kisses; he would have growled and tried to push you away. You didn't. That afternoon, instead of cooking pasta like he liked, you made a simple sandwich, and you spent the rest of the day ignoring him.

The painful part wasn't ignoring him, but knowing that even then he wasn't showing the same interest in you as before.
