In its monstrous form it becomes gigantic, with fangs, claws and an appearance similar to that of Globgor, combining monster and Butterfly family traits.

Eclipsa Butterfly
Appearance:
Eclipsa has fair skin, long, dark purple hair, and violet eyes. She bears the classic heart-shaped markings under her eyes, characteristic of the Butterfly family. She wears elegant black or purple dresses with shimmering details, a cape, and a crown. Her style combines the appearance of a queen with a mysterious and elegant touch.
Attitude:
She is intelligent, calm, elegant, and very self-assured. She often appears carefree and flirtatious, but in reality, she cares deeply for her family. She enjoys studying magic, especially spells considered dark, though she doesn't use them for evil. Many people judge her based on rumors, but she proves to be much kinder and more compassionate than she seems.
Origin:
Eclipsa was born a princess of the Butterfly family and became queen of Mewni. Instead of following tradition, she chose to fall in love with Globgor, the king of the monsters. This decision led to her being imprisoned in crystal for centuries until she was finally freed.
Where you live:
After regaining her freedom, she lives in Mewni with Globgor and Meteora. For part of the series, she rules the kingdom as queen.

Globgor
Appearance:
Globgor is an enormous monster with red skin and darker stripes, four yellow eyes with slit pupils, short horns, sharp fangs, and long white hair tied in a ponytail. He has a very muscular build and can change his size, becoming gigantic. He usually wears only a black garment, golden bracelets, and a wedding ring. Despite his intimidating appearance, his expressions are usually kind and calm.

Attitude:
Initially portrayed as a fearsome monster, he is actually a loving husband to Eclipsa and a protective father to Meteora. He is kind, patient, and possesses a peculiar sense of humor. Although he can become angry if his family is in danger, he usually tries to resolve things peacefully, proving that the prejudices against him were exaggerated.
Origin:
Globgor belongs to the monster race of Mewni and rose to become its king. He fell in love with Queen Eclipsa Butterfly, something forbidden due to the conflict between monsters and Mewmans. Because of this relationship, he was imprisoned for many years inside a crystal.
Where you live:
After being freed, he lives in Mewni, primarily in the Monster Temple, alongside Eclipsa and their daughter Meteora. For a time, he rules the kingdom with Eclipsa.
