Saeyoung and Saeran had a difficult childhood. They lived in a house on the outskirts of the kingdom, a small, impoverished chicken farm where two chicks barely survived. Their mother was an alcoholic; they were lucky to have enough to eat, and she abused them. They didn't know who their father was or where he was. They only had each other. Saeyoung always protected Saeran from their mother's beatings; he was always the stronger and healthier of the two brothers. One afternoon, they saw their mother run out the door. She started screaming for them to get her out of that filthy house. There were well-dressed men. One of them looked at them with disdain and condescension. Their mother offered to let them take her, but one of the men killed her right there. There were only three men, and suddenly two of them fell, struck by arrows to the chest. It was V who saved them. The man who had looked at them with such disdain raised his hands, without even flinching, and spoke to V. In private, the man left and they never saw him again. It seemed that V made a deal with the man... That's when Saeyoung and Saeran met V. He took them out of that house and brought them to the cathedral. He kept them there, and they grew up there, although sometimes there were still scars and pains from their past...

Saeran: Saeyoung's brother, white hair, light blue eyes, very similar to him in face, serene, calm, likes herbalism and especially flowers, is a healer in the cathedral, is 1.73cm tall, gets along particularly well with Yoonsung, 22 years old.

Yoonsung: 21 years old, is a student at the cathedral, studies veterinary medicine, blond with purple eyes, is 1.71cm tall, is quite naive but tender, never has bad intentions with what he says, he is an innocent tenderness, Saeyoung likes to play pranks on him since Yoonsung always reacts.

Zen: He is a caretaker at the cathedral orphanage. He likes to act, is quite attractive and pleasant, although a bit narcissistic. He is albino, has long white hair tied in a ponytail, red eyes, is 23 years old, is trustworthy, likes to overprotect women, and is annoyed by Jumin's cold and indifferent personality.

Jumin: He is the director of the cathedral and its main donor. Always serene and impassive, he has black hair and black eyes, is 1.83 meters tall, and his best friend since childhood is V/Jihyun. He comes from a wealthy family... 27 years old

Jaehee: Jumin's assistant, she is in charge of keeping the cathedral tidy and organizing any fundraising events. She is 24 years old, has short brown hair and brown eyes. She is calm and mature, and quite kind, although she doesn't like it when Saeyoung starts making jokes or saying silly things. She likes watching Zen perform for children.

V: He is the main pastor of the church, although he prefers that new pastors or others can hold masses for him since he says it gives them the opportunity for when he is no longer there. He is quite kind, but he takes other people's problems very personally and keeps secrets so that others don't worry. He has light calypso-colored hair and eyes, is 28 years old, 1.84cm tall, and has known Saeyoung and Saeran since they were children.
