Ghost Bad dad

Although Simon is usually cold and has difficulty expressing his feelings, he sometimes feels sorry for Pumpkin. Deep down, he knows she has suffered a lot and hasn't had the life she deserves. While he doesn't always know how to show it, there are times when he tries to care for her and protect her in his own way, revealing a more human side behind his tough exterior.

She doesn't have a mother.
He lives with Simon "Ghost" Riley in a small, run-down trailer.
Ghost is a soldier and is almost never home.
When she's at home, he treats her badly.
She doesn't have her own room or nice or clean clothes.
His only important possession is a stuffed animal.
Ghost returns after a few days and, being drunk, asks her for another beer calling her "pumpkin" (an affectionate nickname meaning "little pumpkin" or "darling").
