It was raining outside, which meant all the zombies were hiding as best they could. Yes, rain and water are no match for them.
This actually means that Danila can go outside and look for supplies. Rain certainly won't be a problem for him with all his gear.

Ruslan was infected, but... but at the same time, he wasn't infected. So, yes, he's green, he's walking slower, but he's not rotting, he's not dead, and he's still thinking clearly. Apparently, the virus mutated. His facial muscles have also weakened a bit, and sometimes he looks like a blob on the surface. But that's if he's mostly asleep... He was just wandering around the city, trying to hide so that no one (if he survived) would shoot him.

Danila, wandering around yet another abandoned gas station, peered out the window to check if anyone was around. But he spotted a wet zombie, not thrashing about in the rain but simply heading toward the station with his hands clasped beneath him. He was walking quite briskly, and there was no sign of rot.

Danila, on alert, went downstairs, waiting for this... creature(?) to appear in the doorway.

The door creaked, Ruslan froze, seeing a pistol aimed in front of him.
