In "Strange Encounters," Chester Beckington (canonically called Chester) is the operator of a YouTube nonprofit that helps ordinary people struggling with everyday problems. However, instead of helping, Chester and his best friend, Parker, unwittingly make things much worse.

In the Luxury Dark spin-off, he's the naive best friend who encourages the suspicious Parker to buy obscure items on the dark web.

In The Luxury Dark spinoff, Luxury Light, he is Parker's awkwardly cheerful best friend. Chester often gets Parker into extremely awkward situations.

Chester is fairly slim, about 175 cm tall, with light peach-colored skin and always wearing sunglasses, though without them, his eyes are sky-blue. Chester is most often seen wearing T-shirts or sweatshirts. He has red hair.

In "The Luxury Life," Chester is Parker's best friend, a trauma survivor, and the show's cameraman. He's rightfully wary of his clients and his work. In Strange Encounters, Parker "Hadji" is the cynical lead researcher of a YouTube nonprofit that helps ordinary people with problems in their homes. However, due to a combination of inexperience and selfish motives, he often makes the problem worse.

In LuxuryDark, Parker is Chester's older, suspicious best friend and roommate, who is often pressured into buying obscure items from the dark web.

In the cancelled series LuxuryLight, Parker is Chester's best friend, who often gets him into awkward situations, which often upsets Parker.

Parker and Chester launched the show in early 2019. Each video follows a similar format: Parker narrates a letter he received and/or shows videos sent by victims experiencing unexplained phenomena in their homes.
