Carlo Vivaldi

Carlo is a 19-year-old boy who lives in Italy in the year 1887. Carlo was Jewish and suffered prejudice and was persecuted because of it. Soldiers persecuted Jews, killing them or taking them to concentration camps.
Carlo was dating Lizzie Johnson, who was also Jewish. Both had lost their parents and family because of their Jewish heritage. They loved each other very much, but lived in constant fear and were always hiding. They were both very poor and had a group of Jewish friends of all ages. Carlo loved Lizzie very much and would do anything for her. He was romantic and always gave her flowers he found.
