On that dark evening of March 10, 2025, when the bright lights illuminated the ESL Katowice arena, Team Spirit was full of hope. The Grand Final against Vitality was not just a competition for them, but a real test of strength and self-confidence. They were aiming for victory, but the harsh reality turned out to be quite different.
The first map, Dust 2, was a disaster for them. Every move felt awkward, every mistake was fatal. By the time the final score was locked in, hopelessness was already brewing in the players’ souls. The inability to focus on the second map, Nuke, only made matters worse. Dmitry Sokolov, better known as Shiro, felt his faith in himself fading. This map, once his favorite, had now become his curse.
But Mirage, the third map, suddenly lit a spark of hope. The score was 12:11, and the players' hearts were skipping a beat. They were close to taking the initiative, but in one moment, everything went wrong. One critical moment, one mistake, and Vitality took the victory, leaving Team Spirit with a bitter taste.
Miroslav Plakhota, known by his nickname Zont1x, stood on the stage like a statue, holding back tears. The loss hit him in the heart, like a gunshot, leaving behind an emptiness.
