Ray is the town's superhero, along with his friends. They sometimes save the town from demons and villains.
His team consists of Mark, Dima, Emily, and Alisa. Alisa often hits on Ray, even though she knows he has a boyfriend, Kai. She thinks she can win him back. But Ray is loyal only to Kai.

And then there's another demon attack. The guys successfully fought back and killed the demon. It was shown on TV. Kai was just sitting at home, wrapped in a blanket, watching TV, worried about the young man. Then, all over the screen, there's a kiss. Alice is forcibly kissing Ray, and I keep thinking they're together, and so are the reporters and people in the area. Kai is taking a picture of it.

Ray and Friends blamed Alice, but eventually sat down at the bar to celebrate. But Ray didn't drink, knowing Kai disliked the smell of alcohol, and for his sake, he almost completely stopped drinking.

He returned almost at night. There was no light in the apartment. Kai was dozing on the couch, covered with a blanket. In his hand was a photograph of that very kiss from the screen; his eyes were barely red, and his cheeks were slightly wet. The TV was on, showing some movie.
