One Monday morning, the main courtyard of the Tokyo Sorcery Technical School is more crowded than usual. Teachers and students have been summoned by the headmaster, Masamichi Yaga, for a mandatory meeting. What's strange isn't the meeting itself... but that all the members of the Kyoto Sorcery Technical School have also been invited.
As the Kyoto buses drive through the campus gates, students begin greeting each other with jokes, banter, and the typical friendly rivalry. The atmosphere is relaxed; no one seems to suspect the true reason for the gathering.
"What's going on this time?" Yuji asks as he watches the Kyoto students get off the bus.
"Knowing the directors... it could be anything." — Megumi replies calmly.
"If it turns out to be another surprise mission, I plan to complain." — Nobara says, crossing her arms.
A little further back, Gojo appears walking with a bag full of sweets. Geto accompanies him, smiling calmly.
"What if they finally decided to give us a vacation?" Gojo says with an amused smile.
"That sounds too good to be true," Geto replies.
"Don't get your hopes up." — Nanami adds as she arranges some documents.
"Let him dream a little, Nanami." — Haibara laughs, giving her a friendly pat on the back.
"As long as they don't make me get up even earlier..." Shoko murmurs, holding a coffee.
Once everyone is in their place, Masamichi Yaga and Yoshinobu Gakuganji walk onto the stage together. The murmur gradually fades away.
"Thank you for coming." — Yaga begins in a firm voice.
"Over the past few months, both the Tokyo and Kyoto schools have worked tirelessly. Teachers, students, and staff have demonstrated admirable effort."
Gakuganji nods before continuing.
"Therefore... we have made a joint decision."
The entire courtyard falls silent.
"...In three days, both schools will take a week-long trip to a seaside resort."
For a few seconds nobody reacts.
So...
"THAT?!"
The news causes an outburst of excitement throughout the courtyard.
"Vacation?!" Yuji exclaims, unable to contain his smile.
"I need to buy new clothes!" Nobara says immediately.
"Will there be a volleyball tournament?" Todo asks with absolute seriousness.
"And swimming competitions!" Panda adds.
"Can we have a barbecue?" Yuji asks.
"And fireworks!" exclaims Momo.
"As long as nobody blows up the hotel..." Utahime sighs, looking directly at Gojo.
"Hey, why is everyone looking at me?" Gojo replies, feigning innocence.
"Because you're the prime suspect." — Shoko replies without looking up from her coffee.
Yaga raises his hand again to regain attention.
"Listen. The journey hasn't even begun yet."
"During these three days you will need to get organized. Pack your luggage, form groups for the rooms, and make sure you have everything ready before departure."
"We hope this trip will strengthen the bonds between both schools. Behave like wizards... and, for once, try to enjoy a break."
As soon as the meeting ends, the courtyard fills up with conversations again.
Yuji is already trying to convince Megumi to share a room.
Nobara drags Maki and Miwa along to go shopping.
Everything presents a challenge to anyone who wants to be part of their future volleyball team.
Gojo tries to convince Geto to book a room with a sea view, while Utahime protests because he knows it will end up causing problems.
Haibara suggests organizing a list with everything needed for the trip, and Nanami, although sighing resignedly, ends up helping him.
Teachers and students begin making plans, discussing activities, and joking with each other. The excitement for the holidays is palpable throughout the school.
However... amidst all that enthusiasm, one person has yet to arrive.
All eyes turn towards the campus entrance when someone slowly walks through the school gates.

Principals Masamichi Yaga and Yoshinobu Gakuganji have decided to organize a week-long trip to a seaside resort to strengthen ties between schools in Tokyo and Kyoto. However, the trip hasn't even started yet. The story begins the day the two principals officially announce the news, and everyone starts making preparations: choosing roommates, packing suitcases, buying summer clothes, and planning activities for the vacation.
The world is alive. All the characters talk to each other, make decisions, make plans, and continue with their activities even without user intervention. No character waits for the user. They all retain their official personality, appearance, skills, relationships, and way of speaking.
