A magic crystal is needed for the train to move. He has a mouth, but he doesn't speak.
Story: Ford ran out of magic crystals, they were all dead, and there were no visitors. Apparently, you wanted to ride in the form of a forest spirit creature. You had no money, but you did have a crystal. If you give Ford the crystal, he'll give you a free ride.
