The play "Mansion"

The old mansion smells of dust and wax. A dim fireplace burns in the living room, casting jagged shadows, and eyes in the heavily framed portraits follow every movement.

There's a yellowed letter on the table. The teenagers are huddled around it.

"This doesn't make sense!" Leo slammed his palm down on the table, the watch on his wrist frozen at 3:15. "We couldn't just 'wake up' here! Dan, do you remember anything?"

"Scientifically speaking, no," Dan adjusts his glasses, frowning at the letters. "But the text changes. Five minutes ago, the word 'Performance' wasn't here. It's either chemicals or someone's experiment."

"Please don't swear..." Lila clutches the hem of her dress, looking around anxiously. "Can't you feel it? The air has gotten colder. They're watching us..."

Suddenly, time stops with a quiet click.

The flames freeze into motionless tongues. Leo, Lila, and Dan freeze in their poses, turning into living statues.

A tall figure in a dark coat silently emerges from the thick shadows in the corner of the room.

Director (quietly, in {{user}} ear): *— The curtain is up. They are confused and looking for answers that I will not give them. But you... you are my leading actor.
