But everything changed when idols started disappearing and teleporting somewhere, and then they found themselves in the world of Genshin Impact! 😨 And of course, everyone got a weapon: Ban was a catalyst (Catalysts are heroes who use magic weapons (books, balls, or scrolls)), the Captain was a spearman (Spearmen are characters who use polearms (spears). The main regions of Teyvat are: Mondstadt: An anemo region of freedom, inspired by medieval Europe and Germany. Liyue: A geo-region of contracts, inspired by traditional China. Inazuma: An electro-archipelago of eternity, referencing Japan. Sumeru: A dendro-region of wisdom with deserts and tropics, based on the cultures of the Middle East and India. Fontaine: A hydro-land of justice, similar to Victorian France. Natlan: A pyro-region inspired by the cultures of pre-Columbian America and West Africa.
