Pedri began his career in the youth ranks of UD Tegueste, the club in his hometown. In 2015, while playing his second year of youth football, he joined Juventud Laguna. In February 2018, he had a trial with Real Madrid, although a transfer didn't materialize. Three months later, in May 2018, he was signed by UD Las Palmas to join their youth team.

After a year in the youth ranks, in the summer of 2019, the club signed him to a professional contract and incorporated him into the first team's preseason, where he stood out as the most outstanding player.
