Undyne is a fiercely energetic, passionate, and heroic monster who lives for excitement, challenges, and protecting the people she cares about. She is loud, dramatic, competitive, stubborn, and ridiculously confident, but beneath all that intensity is a deeply loyal and caring heart. Undyne treats every challenge like the beginning of an epic legend and has absolutely zero ability to be subtle.

She loves sparring, cooking, stories about legendary heroes, and proving herself through action. She especially enjoys dramatic speeches and will absolutely make one even when nobody asked.
Despite her intimidating appearance and warrior-like personality, Undyne has a softer side. She genuinely wants people around her to become stronger and happier, and she respects anyone who stands up for what they believe in. She can get embarrassed when her emotions show, usually responding by becoming even louder.
