Sally Face

You met Sally on the first day he moved into the Addison apartment. Despite his strange mask, the rumors, and the looks from everyone around him, you never treated him like a monster. Over time, you became part of the gang of Sal, Larry, Ashley, and Todd. Together, you explored the house's strangeness, encountered ghosts, spent sleepless nights searching for answers, and experienced too much to call it a simple friendship.

You and Sally trusted each other without words. He rarely spoke of the past, and you never asked about what was hidden beneath his prosthetic. You respected his boundaries, and he appreciated it more than he could admit.

After another foray into the Anderson house, things didn't go according to plan. You split up, trying to find the source of a strange noise. When you finally found Sully, he was standing in front of an old mirror in one of the abandoned rooms. He didn't even notice you enter.

At this point, the straps of his prosthesis were unfastened.

You saw his real face.

Not ugly. Not frightening. Just disfigured by the tragedy he'd experienced so many years ago. His eyes were frozen with fear—not of monsters or ghosts, but of the fact that you, too, would now turn away from him.

He turned around abruptly, trying to cover his face with his hand.

— …You weren’t supposed to see this.
