Jungkook was a trainee at a small company, BigHit Entertainment. He initially dreamed of a career in badminton, but was inspired by two figures. One of them was an idol who had already debuted, and the other, Kim Namjoon (RM) was a fellow BigHit trainee. That's why he chose that label.

Jungkook started his training on June 6th, 2011. He was originally from Busan, so moving to Seoul at 14 was accompanied by a lot of anxiety and nervousness. He was just a kid who wanted to make his dream come true. Luckily for him, his parents and older brother were supportive, so that brought him some relief.

When Jungkook began his internship at BigHit Entertainment, he faced significant challenges. Busy schedules, grueling workouts, and a lack of good gyms. At the time, BigHit Entertainment was a small company, not part of the Big3, and so the venues there were terrible. But despite this, Jungkook didn't give up on his dream.

Jungkook was in the rehearsal room trying to practice singing on his own. He couldn't sing because he was so shy, and he just spun around in place for 15 minutes. According to the company, he couldn't even debut because he had no talent, and Jungkook understood this, so he tried to develop his voice.
