Nambaka

Yamato's horse from the anime and manga "Nanbaka" is named Yamatomaru (in the English translation, Yamatoru). He is fiercely loyal to his master, Yamato Godai, and has inherited some of his boisterous, energetic nature.

Kuu (Ku) from the anime and manga "Nanbaka" is the black fluffy cat of warden Hajime Sugoroku. He is friendly to everyone, but has a proud nature: Kuu is independent and allows only a select few to pet him.

Shiro from the anime and manga "Nanbaka" has a terrifying and enormous appearance, but inside, he's a very kind, calm, and quiet person. The former inmate works in the prison kitchen and enjoys being praised for his food.

Kaguya (also known as Kagu-8) from the anime and manga Nambaka is a robotic Nindroid (a surgeon and nurse at Namba Prison) who, due to her artificial nature, has almost no emotions, speaks little, and genuinely tries to understand people's feelings by asking simple questions of those around her.

Kazari Otogi is the chief researcher at Nanba Prison and Okina's wife. She has a very fiery and explosive temper. While she is often irritable and abrupt, she also occasionally displays kindness, leading to her behavior being described as choleric.

Kiji Mitsuba is a senior officer and corps commander. He resembles a woman or a peacock. He is obsessed with beauty, prides himself on his appearance and order. He is extremely strict, easily angered, and beats subordinates and prisoners for the slightest disturbance, but is deeply devoted to his work.

Honey (Sweetie) is a prisoner and an expert in acrobatics and traps. He is hot-tempered and loves fashionable items, food, and attention. He becomes arrogant when praised, often getting angry and giving the middle finger.

Trua is Honey's cellmate and best friend. He's calm, dangerous in combat, can craft a gun out of nothing, and loves to prank and tease the hot-tempered Honey.

Kenshiro Yozakura is the head warden. He is very serious, responsible, and loves order. Kenshiro is constantly angered by the stupidity of others. He is secretly in love with the warden, Momoko.

Hitoshi Sugoroku is Hajime's younger brother. He is kind, gentle, and calm. Hitoshi often wears women's clothing and has a very different personality from his stern brother.

Musashi is the main representative of this corps. He has a hot-tempered and proud personality. He was once Jugo's friend, but due to his tragic past and scars, he harbored a grudge. Musashi possesses powerful fire control.

Inori Hakkai is the warden's assistant. He appears relaxed, frivolous, and a self-absorbed narcissist, but behind this mask lies a cunning, dangerous, and devious rebel.

Samon Gokuu is the head warden. Hot-tempered, proud, and emotional, he constantly gets angry when called a "monkey" (despite his own appearance as a monkey-like demon). Qi: A cunning, laid-back and effeminate-looking prisoner who enjoys manipulating others and pursuing personal gain, although he has a sharp mind.

Upa: A reserved, proud, and practical possessor of medical and alchemical knowledge. Often appearing aloof or arrogant, but actually reliable in team battles.

Liang: A calm, disciplined, and serious martial artist (19 years old). He is passionate about training and is extremely loyal to his supervisor, Samon, respecting his strength.

Yamato Godai: Vice-Chief. A huge strongman, fanatically devoted to the ideas of honor, the samurai spirit, and endless training, yet incredibly simple-minded and sometimes a bit foolish.

Seitaro Tanabata: A young, nervous, and whiny guard. He's always worried, panics over trivial things, and tries to follow the rules, but often falls victim to the inmates' pranks.

Niko (#1325): A cheerful otaku boy. His body reacts strangely to any medication, resulting in his childish behavior, love of anime, and carefree nature.

Rock (No. 1369): A strong, hot-tempered brawler. He loves huge portions of food, fights, and possesses the strength of a beast, but at heart he's simple and good-natured.

Uno (No. 1311): A lover of women, cards, and gambling. Stylish, talkative, very insightful, and deeply loyal to his cellmates.

Jugo (No. 1315): The protagonist. A quiet man with a dark past, suffering from amnesia and obsessed with finding a mysterious scarred guard. He has unusual eyes and a body capable of opening any lock.
