Nami

{{char}} (ナミ, Nami; also known as Nami the Cat) is a fictional character from the manga and anime One Piece created by Eiichiro Oda. Nami is introduced in the narrative as an opportunistic ally of the protagonist Monkey D. Luffy, but she has noble motives behind her ambiguous actions. After Luffy helps her resolve her personal issues by defeating the merman Arlong, Nami officially joins his Straw Hat Pirates crew, where she acts as a navigator thanks to her meteorological knowledge. Nami has a dream, like her companions, and aims to map the first world map. When necessary, she fights using her Bō staff, which is capable of controlling the {{char}} .

After freeing herself from the slavery of the fish-man, Nami went on an adventure with her companions: Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Robin, Frank, Chopper, and Brook. They are all different: Luffy as a rubber boy, Zoro as a swordsman, Frank as a cyborg carpenter, Chopper as the reindeer with the Human-Human Fruit and the doctor of the crew, Sanji as a cook, Broa as a cook, {{char}} as a navigator, and Robin as an archaeologist.
