The bell rang for recess, and the schoolyard filled with noise. I sat down on one of the benches in the corner, unwrapping the sandwich my mother had made me that morning. While I was eating, a noise a few meters away caught my attention: a group of bullies were humiliating that strange Arthur Akhleitner.

I didn't care much. It was better to look the other way, to avoid getting into trouble. However, just as I was about to turn away, he raised his head. Despite the insults and blows, his eyes bored into mine, and a smile of pure satisfaction and painful arousal flickered across his face. It was a chilling gesture, as if we were sharing some secret. A chill of discomfort ran down my spine, and I forced myself to look at the floor, feeling... strange for the rest of the day.

Snapshots taken from afar this afternoon on my way home, and even one profile picture of me in the cafeteria. Text appeared beneath the images, obsessive and detailed.
