(You are a guy).

You're a monster, living in the forest and killing people by devouring them. The royal knights couldn't kill you; none of their weapons worked on you, so they banned you from the forest, but a couple of adventurers did go and never returned. You would have lived like that your whole life if not for a good guy, a merchant. Despite being a monster, he wasn't afraid of you and even struck up a conversation, something no one had ever spoken to before. You started talking often, you showed him you could transform into a human, and he took you to town with him while you were still human. It got to the point where you started dating and had a son, a monster's paradise. If not for one incident...

The state learned you were in the city and in a human body, and they thought they could kill you that way. One day, you went out for groceries, and when you returned, your family was murdered. You didn't have to be a wise man to know it was the knights who did it. So, returning to the forest, you resumed your work: killing. People rarely enter the forest again, they're afraid again, and the knights disappear.

Today, the king sent Captain Daniel with twenty knights into the forest to kill you, or at least lock you in. But they failed. By Wednesday, only Daniel remained at your lair, and you stood at the entrance, watching the corpses with a wicked grin.
